  1. After trying them all, I’d have to say prefolds are my favorite, great to see a video on all the different folds 🙂

  2. That was great, thank you! I have 6 prefolds that I never got the hang of. Maybe I’ll give them a go again this time around.

  3. Brandi Powell says:

I really like my prefolds, we use them regularly!! I find they are perfect for me and my husband to use, but when someone else is watching my daughter, it’s easy to go with the pockets.

  4. Great video – tons of good information. Makes me want to try prefolds more.

  5. Emily Underwood says:

So helpful to watch. I showed this to my husband to convince him that prefolds wouldn’t be too complicated!

  6. Cara Howard says:

Hm, I suppose I could give prefolds another shot. They’ve always been more bulky, and I’d like to be able to leave a cover off w/o using a pin or a snappi. (One too many accidents with pins – Pin Vs Cuticle style) Guess I’ll stick with fitteds except on laundry day for now…or maybe figure out how to turn my prefolds into fitteds.. 😉

  7. I was originally scared of prefolds when I learned about cloth diapers. We had planned on using pockets & AIO for our first baby due this Dec but now I have totally reconsidered prefolds as a great newborn option. We did purchase a few nerborn sized AIO & fitteds so they could be more Dad/family friendly but I think I will also have about a dozen prefolds to use as well! Was considering getting the Bummis Infant Kit they sell now because it comes with everything you need. Thanks for this video!

  8. Michelle F. says:

great video and info. will be sharing this.

  9. Jennifer A. says:

Thank you for the video! I have been so afraid of trying pre fold, but your “demystification” of prefolds really helped! 😀 I may even be bold enough to buy a few now, and see what happens!

  10. I loved prefolds when my babies were small but once they got mobile it was too many pieces. I do still use them when I am battling a rash though as they can take a good washing without falling apart.

  11. Thanks for the video! I love using prefolds and covers!

  12. I have never tried pre folds, but definitely I would in the future. Thank you fro sharing this video because after watching I have a clear vision about pre folds. Let me bookmark this post 🙂

  3. […] This one is so very fun, especially if it’s a local mom.  When it’s a local mom, I invite her over to my house and we just take a tour through my stash.  After she finishes marveling over the beautifully stacked array of colors on Eudora’s changing table hutch, we sit down and go through some of the various cloth diapers.  At the end, she has a better idea of what to buy when she makes her switch to cloth diapers.  If she’s not a local mom, then I send her links to some explanation posts I’ve done on the subject.  I also give her the links to some demo vlogs I’ve done.  (I’ve already convinced some that prefold cloth diapers are pretty easy!)
