All-In-Two Cloth Diaper – Looking for Perfection

All-In-Two Cloth Diaper - Looking for Perfection (Cloth Diaper Addicts)Everyone has a different idea of what makes the perfect cloth diaper. If you’re lucky, your perfect cloth diaper is one that you found right away with very little trial and error. For Heather at The Parenting Patch, Best Bottom diapers are perfection. It’s a great all-in-two cloth diaper, and really it’s kind of collectible. However, C, an expecting mom in a Facebook group is still looking for her perfect cloth diaper.

She has an idea about what she’s looking for. She wants an all-in-two cloth diaper. I can think of several all-in-two or hybrid cloth diapers that I love. Swaddlebees Capris are gorgeous. Flip covers are fantastic. And Best Bottom diapers have contained prune poopsplosions.

Swaddlebees Capris and Best Bottom diapers have part of what she wants on her all-in-two cloth diaper wish list: they’ve got the double gusset.  GroVia has part of what she wants on her all-in-two cloth diaper wish list: they’ve got the fabric, non-wipeable inner and snap in inserts.  However, they aren’t quite what she has in mind.  Of course, all three of those diapers have the option for the snap closure that she wants.

The only thing that I can think of that comes even close to what C has in mind is the Funky Fluff diaper.  It has an all-in-two cloth diaper option.  Funky Fluff has a stay dry insert option if that’s what you want, or you can use bamboo inserts.  If you want, you can snap in the insert on top and use it as an all-in-two diaper.  Or you can tuck in the insert like a pocket.

I’ve only used my Funky Fluff as a pocket, though.  But it does sound the most like C’s perfect all-in-two cloth diaper.  Are there other all-in-two cloth diapers that fit C’s criteria?  (If you know of any, please list them so that C can check them out!)

  1. Aww, no comments?! Help me out friends! 🙂

Im not really familiar with any other kinds but the Funky Fluff sounds like a good one to go with. I dont care for the Flip covers but I like the Lovely Pocket Diapers covers bc it has the elastic in the back part to hold the insert in better. Not sure if this is what the mom would like but my favorite diapers are Smart Bottoms bc they have the convience of an AIO but dry like an AI2.

I am new to cloth diapering and thought AI2’s were the way to go but I also have not found the perfect one so I ordered a funky fluff we will see if this is better than the GroVia, best bottom diapers are not too bad and I think I like those better than the GroVia. Thanks for the tip on funky fluff I had never heard of that kind!
