I received the Taggies Snuggle Me Sleeper for free in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinons expressed are my own. Always. 🙂
To start off, I was thrilled to receive a Taggies Snuggle Me Sleeper to review. I actually took back another sleeper I had previously purchased because I liked this one so much better. It’s pretty small, it really doesn’t take up much room next to my bed. The fact that I can just lean over a little to check on Little Man makes me sleep a little better.
This is pretty well made. It was really easy to put together. I didn’t have to look at the directions, though I did check them when I was finished to make sure that I did put it together right. I do have problems unlocking it to fold it flat, and I find the giraffe attached to the harness a little annoying, but I can live with it. The locking mechanisms are on the ends, where the bars cross, and it’s a little bit of a stretch to get both ends at the same time. The giraffe is only annoying because sometimes it gets in the way when hooking up the harness. The sleeper is sturdy enough to hold my 35 pound toddler. She likes to get in it sometimes when I bring it out to the living room.
In the picture, Little Man is about 2 months, 23 inches long, and 12 lbs and 7 oz. He’s getting a little big for the pad, but that’s okay, because it’s removable. The pad is a little hard to clean in my top loading high efficiency washer. Next time, I’ll toss it in with towels. It’s pretty soft. All the fabric is a polyester velour, except where there’s mesh on the sides where baby’s head goes.
Overall, I love our Snuggle Me Sleeper! I’ll be sad when we can no longer use it. I wish they made them big enough for adults! I would so park one on my porch and take a nap in it. If the kids would ever let me.
These are available exclusively from BabiesRUs. You can click here to purchase a Taggies Baby Sleeper. If you’re expecting a little one or know someone who is or has one, this would make a really great gift. When Little Man outgrows ours, I’ll be packing it away to use for our next baby.
