Summer Bucket List for 2014

It’s definitely summer!  Schools in BC are out now as the teachers are on strike.  (And I totally agree with them, but that’s the subject of another blog post.)  The weather is beautiful, and Prince George is a veritable outdoor wonderland of parks and forests and things to do.  With that in mind, here’s my summer bucket list.

Summer Bucket List for 2014

1.) Visit each and every playground in the area with the kids at least once.  (Between schools and neighborhood parks, there’s a minimum of fifty.)

2.) Make Jello Jigglers in my cool butterfly molds.

3.) Take the kids to play in the splash park at Ft. George.

4.) Take the kids swimming in a lake.

5.) Take the kids out to play in the river.

6.) Brave the library with the littles at least once.

7.) Turn them loose with finger paints and a long roll of butcher paper in the driveway.  Hose them off when finished.  (And probably the driveway, too.)

8.) Visit the zoo.

9.) Ride The Little Prince steam engine train with the kids.

10.) Make sure to get a picture of Eudora in every single diaper we own, because there won’t be many more diaper days left!

What’s on your summer bucket list?

I don’t have a summer bucket list, might need to borrow a few ideas from yours. I like the visiting different palygrounds idea!
