There’s a reason why there are so many different options for cloth diapers: everyone has different favorites. Our babies are shaped differently and have different outputs. Rather than just expecting us all to use the same thing and like it, now we’re blessed with an overwhelming array of cloth diaper brands to choose from! But even with different brands, there’s different styles, different fibers, etc. If you’ve decided that you love the convenience of an all-in-one, but only want natural fibers touching your baby’s bum, then this is the post for you! Here’s a break down of some natural fiber all-in-one cloth diapers. [Read more…]
Are you ready to #tryallthediapers?! I’m thrilled to be writing this long overdue Blueberry Deluxe cloth diaper review! I’ve been a fan of Blueberry for a long time, but I’ve yet to write about why it’s a diaper you need in your stash.
Jill Duggar Dillard shared an Instagram photo of herself and her husband… and shared that they were considering cloth diapers for Baby Dilly.
Let’s be honest: I’m thrilled. I can’t think of a better way to #makeclothmainstream than for them to be a regular staple on a reality show. Of course, there’s more to it than just that. Cloth diapers for Baby Dilly is the way to go, and that’s largely because I’m quite certain that there will be dozens of siblings for that little one. (I don’t watch the show because I don’t do reality TV, but I’m not living under a rock.) However, the young Mrs. Dillard’s family members used cloth at one point and quit because it was “too time consuming.” When you consider that the young Mrs. Dillard grew up in a house with so many siblings that an in-home laundromat would be required to keep up, it’s not surprising that they’d give up on it. It’s been a huge week in terms of new cloth diaper release announcements! To recap, we’ve got a whole bunch of new cloth diaper prints and colors to choose from. There have been new cloth diaper release announcements from AMP, AppleCheeks, Blueberry, Funky Fluff, and FuzziBunz! [Read more…]
I have experimented with a variety of methods and systems for overnight cloth diapers. Overnight cloth diapers with Eudora have never been a problem; she’s such a light wetter that it’s like she pees glitter or something. With Norton? Well, let’s just say that I spent a lot of time washing sheets in the morning. I’d gone through a multitude of overnight cloth diapers with him. [Read more…]
Sometimes the Daily Cute Fluffy Bum post can be subtitled “weird things my children do.” In this particular photo taken a few months back… Norton found the marshmallows for making Rice Krispy Snowmen in the pantry. He found some stuck together and put them on his chest… and proudly proclaimed, “Wook, Mommy! I chicken!” He then proceeded to do a funny chicken walk whilst flapping his wings to demonstrate. He did all of this while modeling a pair of Blueberry Giraffe trainers in a size medium.
It’s official. Get them while you can. Blueberry Diapers has announced that they are retiring four of their patterned print diapers.
Last week, Blueberry has announced that Baby Blooms, Messy Hands, Owls, and Stars will be no more. Retailers can’t order them, so what’s left in the stores are what’s really left. Get them while you can!
To make life a bit easier, I’ll list some stores that have any of these left at the time of publication.
Nicki’s Diapers – Capri (Baby Blooms – newborn, Owls – one size), Basix (medium Baby Blooms, medium Messy Hands, medium Owls, large Baby Blooms, large Messy Hands, large Owls), Simplex 2.0 (medium Baby Blooms, medium Owls, large Baby Blooms, large Owls), One Size Deluxe (Owls)
I’m a bit sad that Baby Blooms is going away. It’s an absolutely gorgeous print. I love it, but I never used it much because I had such a hard time properly coordinating it with anything in Eudora’s wardrobe. (Not because of the colors, but either because the shirt was too busy or the diaper was too busy for them to go together very nicely.) I’m sort of feeling like I missed out on something special. I’m not to upset about the owls, to be honest. I never really was bit into owls. Maybe this is a sign that owl print diapers are on the way out?
Which Blueberry print are you most happy to see retired? Which one will you miss the most?
