It’s been a while since I’ve done a stash video. So here’s the update. (Now it’s time for an epic destash!)
Are you crazy about the new TotsBots Binky diapers (also known as the v4)? I think they’re a pretty amazing diaper, myself… and I’m in love with the new nursery rhyme prints. Now Tots Bots has decided that we need another new print to celebrate Prince George of Cambridge! A year ago, they surprised us with the extremely limited edition Royal Flush. Now we’re getting another diaper: the Tots Bots Birthday diaper!
The Tots Bots Birthday diaper will not be as hard to get as the Royal Flush. (There were only a hundred Royal Flush diapers made. Good luck getting one right now for under a $100 Canadian.) In fact, retailers in North America will be able to get them, too!
The Tots Bots Birthday diaper will be released on July 22, 2014 to celebrate the first birthday of Prince George of Cambridge. However, that release date is for the UK only. They will make it to North American retailers, but the date that they will arrive is uncertain. Please be kind to your local retailer when you’re looking for that one diaper. It’s hard for them, too.
Since the weekend, rumors have been floating around the cloth diaper internet. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tots Bots version 4 diapers for around four months now. There have been delays and hold ups, but the general cloth diapering public has not been informed of the reason behind it. All that we know is that we’re craving our diapers and any time Tots Bots answers a North American consumer online, we’re just told “soon.”
The only information that we’ve been given up until this point is that Bummis is the Tots Bots North American distributor and they would be getting the product in to distribute to cloth diaper stores around the continent. At least, that was the plan. Last week, Bummis and Tots Bots severed their arrangement. Bummis would no longer be the distributor for North America.
So what does this mean for us?
Well, it means that there will be even more delays to getting the Tots Bots v4 into the United States and Canada. Until we have a new North American distributor, Tots Bots will ship directly to retailers (much like Frugi diapers are shipped). Theoretically, Tots Bots will be shipped next week. However, I do say “theoretically” because orders were to be shipped to Bummis “the next week” a month ago.
At this point, I’m just hoping that they get here before I start potty training my daughter; I love the new Tots Bots v4 Frugi diapers and want to use the regular Tots Bots, too. And I don’t want to take advantage of my UK pipeline; I’d rather stick with Cozy Bums, my local retailer.
Are you eagerly awaiting the new Tots Bots v4?
Check out today’s cute fluffy bum model! This half of my favorite set of fraternal twins is digging through her toy box to see what mayhem she can create. The rug she’s standing on is as fluffy as the inside of her diaper! She’s wearing a TotsBots Nature Girl diaper. The Nature Girl is a limited print diaper that is no longer available in stores. It was a version 3 diaper with a soft and squishy minky inner.
The V3 is becoming harder to find in stores, but hopefully the TotsBots V4 will make its way to North America soon! Where to buy TotsBots Easy Fit: Cozy Bums Diapers (Canada), Diaper Junction (US/Canada), Kelly’s Closet (US), Lagoon Baby (Canada), Nicki’s Diapers (US/Canada)
Today’s cute fluffy bum features two for the price of one! We’ve got our favorite cloth diapered twins showing off their Tots Bots Bamboozles. Tots Bots Bamboozles are fitted bamboo diapers made in Scotland and distributed to North America through Bummis. (Left: Splosh. Right: Thistle.)
Today’s cute fluffy bum model is Eudora! Eudora is showing off her Frugi by Tots Bots in the Buzzy Bee print. The Frugi line is a limited edition Tots Bots creation imported directly from Scotland.
I’m so excited. This year will be the biggest package I’ve ever been able to offer for the Merry Fluffy Christmas giveaway hop. It’s so big that I’m not even sure I’m going to be able to top it for next year. Even better? There will be TWO packages up, one for Canada and one for the United States/Canada. Cozy Bums is sponsoring the Canada only package. [Read more…]
YAY! They’re finally here! If you’re a fan of Tots Bots and you love new and fun prints that will most likely be quite hard to find, you’re in luck. The new Tots Bots Frugi prints have finally made it to North America. Usually, Tots Bots are shipped to Bummis in Montreal, then they distribute them to North American retailers. The Frugi line is a little different. Frugi is a UK store that focuses on cute and cloth diaper friendly organic clothing, along with other natural parenting friendly products like organic tops that are cut for easy breastfeeding. The Tots Bots Frugi diapers are shipped directly to the vendors from the UK!
Now the new Tots Bots Frugi prints are finally here at my favorite store ever: Cozy Bums, my local cloth diaper store located in Prince George, British Columbia.
The Tots Bots Frugi diapers are not carried by all Tots Bots retailers. It seems that there are only a handful of retailers in the United States and Canada. On the plus side? These diapers are extremely adorable and made with the same quality that we love from Tots Bots. On the down side, though, since they are shipped to each store directly from the United Kingdom, shipping is significantly more expensive. That raises the cost of the diapers.
Still, though, check these adorable diapers out! I’ve already ordered my Buzzy Bee diaper, and will probably order another one in Magical Woodland. (The mushrooms remind me of Super Mario Brothers, which is just amazing.) Which one is your favorite?
